Just installed DNN 7 on a Windows 8 machine with SQL2012 (default install). When browsing to localhost\website, the site is being displayed without any skin being applied (not even the one with the default install). Example: all links are blue and underlined, as if simple old HTML only is being displayed.

Where would I go to enforce the application of the skin?
Note: same display if viewing in IE9, so I am thinking it is something in the configuration itself.

Thanks in advance for your time!

Can you access http://localhost/website/portals/0/logo.jpg ? or any other static resources?

I'm thinking that perhaps the CSS files aren't being loaded, as well as other things like images?

Does the /portals/_default/default.css file exist? Does it get included in the HTML for the page?

Yes, it does exist in that location.

My aplogies, on the 2nd question, how would I check for that? Via F12, as part of the head?
