hi team, please help me. i'm installing dnn 7.03. everytime i change profile picture, there's always popup menu says: "The server localhost at DNNAPI requires a username and password", and there's a username and password textbox, and it's make me failed to upload the image.
How to configure this error, so i and the user can change the display picture. i already delete and reinstall the dnn, but the problem still come.
my configuration: Windows 7 64bit, IIS7, .Net4, SQL Server 2008 R2. thanks

No solution (yet) for the underlying problem which I started to experience today while developing a custom module which makes use of the jQuery.fileupload widget and WebAPI web services.

However, I did discover that the problem only occurs when using IE 9 as browser. All was well when I switched to FireFox (v 17.0.1) or Chrome (v 25.0.1364.97). I do know that IE 9 does not support XHR file uploads and must use IFrame transport instead. I have not had a chance to test with IE 10 which does support XHR file uploads. If you are using IE 9, try FireFox or Chrome to see if the problem goes away.

Oddly, I am still able to upload files to the FileManager, using the Ribbon Bar upload file button, and through the journal with IE 9  - only my custom code is failing with this issue when using IE 9.

In comparing fiddler2 session requests in IE 9 vs FireFox or Chrome and when running my custom upload code vs the above "core" features that are working it appears that in cases when uploading via IE 9 where the credentials popup appears that one of the DNN authentication cookies and the ModuleId and TabId are missing from the request. Not sure why at this time.
