Hi all,

I want to create my site in multilanguage. I am using latest community addition of dnn. I got success in converting backend of dnn in multilanguage by installing excisting module multilanguage pack but i need to convert whole site in multilanguage like text/html content, My user controls etc.

I tried third party module from http://ealo.codeplex.com but after installing that it gives me an error. I also read about apollo software but that site is also redircting to another site and i think it is also not available right now. I am helpless with multiple lang. Guide me asap.

There are several ways with different approaches - Apollo Page and Module Localization, EALO, Locopon... Most of them came out at a time when DNN itself did not support dynamic content localization.

Since DNN 5.5 there is a core solution for that which has been discussed a lot here in the forum. It has it's advantages, but a lot of pitfalls as well. See the tutorials and videos that you can find here in the resources, and I recommend reading this thread as well. There is a Content Localization Tool by Sacha Trauwaen as well that makes the things a bit easier.

First of all thnx 4 da rpl..

I told in ma post that ealo not working with dnn latest version as it gives the error. Another that i am unable to find apollo software because the link is redircting to another website.

But fortunately i tried to manage it with built in functionality of content localization without  installing any third party module. But what i am still missing is i am ubale to convert dnn:nav control to multilanguage. for e.g about us page is nav control is shown as about us(es-es). so how can i convert about us(es-es) in spanish !!

Are you speking about the old NAV (Solpart) menu? Then I guess you should change your skin and use DDR menu instead.

Localization can be achieved by .NET technologies. In .NET, localization concepts are very familiar and they are master's in doing Multilanguage websites.
