Hello fellow DNN'sters,

As a long-time DNN user, I find myself working on DNN projects that would benefit from feedback (general consensus) by the developer community before launching a new DNN site to the general population.

My thought is that by garnering feedback from experienced devs, this information can be used to refine/polish a website before actually going public.

For example, we are getting reading to launch www.curbkicked.com on March 15 and am looking for community feedback in terms of application concept, site design, usability, presentation...etc..

Am I the only one looking for a "developer focus group"?

Any thoughts?

I can completely see why you want great people to do work for you for free.

I cannot see why they would want to do this for you. What's in it for them?

Hi Richard.

Thank you for your time and consideration. However, I'm not really sure where you are coming from?

No disrespect intended. However, how is this request any different than you posting a technical question on these forums and aren't YOU then requesting the same from the community in search of the answer you would be looking for?

Asking them for answers with nothing in it for them other than a sense of community and having your input or opinions valued? People contribute to the forums and interact within the community for various reasons.

If my request is not reasonable to you, then by all means pass on it. Apparently you are not the type of person that this was intended for. No problem.

Take care and good luck to you as well.

Warm regards,

Joseph,

My perception is that you are asking for a significantly larger chunk of work than the typical technical question.

In addition technical questions usually *have* an answer. You are asking for feedbak. A bunch of opinions. They may be valuable opinions, but they are not *answering* a question.

Joseph,

I agree with Richard. This is much more work to explain than answer a technical question. Or what would you do with a short information saying "This page is overloaded, chaotic, choppy, and I cannot find out the purpose of it at first glance"?

Best wishes
Michael
