The login link on my DNN site no longer works and I'm not sure what happened.

Whenever I click the Login link on my site (or the dnn:Login link), it redirects me back to the website's homepage. I also tried manually going to the Login page by typing login.aspx into the address bar, but I get the same result. After turning pop-ups back on (in Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings > Usability Settings), clicking the Login link will show a blank popup for a short time before the redirect. For now, I'm using /Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx to get login, but I'm not the only person that uses this site.

The Register/account name (or dnn:User) link still works fine, and I can logout using the dnn:Login link if I am logged in.

This might have been caused by me placing multiple dnn:Login controls on the same page. Maybe it affected something in the database?

Any help would be appreciated.

- Matt

Hi
if you add multiple login module instance to your page it will not affect the functionality of the login module.
Your login logout links are only not working means there must be some issue in your Login.ascx.cs page.

Thanks,

Thanks for replying, Sunil. I compared my Login.ascx.cs to a backup version and there were no differences, so that wasn't the issue.

I was able to get the Login link working again, however. I created a Login page, which I think was the problem. After deleting the row from the Tabs table in the database, I can log in again.

grt..you figured it out. So this was a TabId issue.

Thanks,
