Will,

If this next question must be on a new / different thread let me know.

Somehow, the dev site is working but ultimately there is a rewrite taking place that then hits the live site.

I edited all other portal alias entries to prevent that, leaving the LM Hosts one I made in place.  When browsing to the dev site it still redirected to the live site.

I checked application host config, redirection config, administration config.  Nothing there could be doing it.  I edited my portal alias, lm hosts and bindings in IIS to all read devdts.skydivecolumbus.com and even this redirected to the live site.

I was thinking I might have hit the actual dev site name on some server and it was resolving when it should not.  No, nobody could have had devdts as the prefix.

I'm stumped ... it's finally firing up which is good but ... I'm stumped.  What's doing this?  Is there a rewrite table in the db I should edit?

Thanks,

Mike
