I have a sandbox account with test business account and test personal account setup. The said user enrolls for an event, continues on and pays for it and is returned to the site.

Two weeks ago the site would give me a confirmation that I have paid for the enrollment, I noticed that last night after continuing to test for the site that after I pay for the enrollment and am returned to the site the same confirmation is not displayed to the user. I have confirmed that the test payment went through.

What gives? Any help would be greatly appreciated, this site is supposed to launch in 2 weeks. I can give the the test account if needed to help me resolve this issue.

Hi William,

Can you provide some more information:-

  •  What DNN and Events versions are you using?
  • Where is the return being sent to, if not your confirmation page?
  • Have you changed anything, I'm guessing not?
  • What is the returnurl is that is sent to URL? You can get this when you do not login to your sandbox account and then go as if you are going to pay, the urls are visible in the url sent to PayPal. Ensure that the returnurl is valid.

If you can give me admin access to your test site, I can dig further. You can mail me at webmaster @ the domain in my profile.

    • I have not modified any of the core of DNNEvents

The basic rules being passed to paypal work fine. If you go to pay for something without logging in to sandbox you will get a URL like this - https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bi...(+3.00+USD+)&item_number=5&quantity=1&custom=3/22/2013&amount=3.00¤cy_code=USD&return=http://scrappbox.com/home/?ctl=PPEnro...

You can extract the return and cancel return urls from this, and they are fine. I'll set up an event to go to my sandbox accounts today/tomorrow to see if something else is wrong.
