Nice code, but like all other solutions I am aware of it only works if the page inside the iframe is inside the same domain as the dnn page.

Did you read the comments inside the blog or did you try it on your own?

  1. The iframe keeps refreshing using FireFox
  2. Links are not supported inside the iframe, the original page will be reloaded again within IE
  3. It requires that you are able to change the content of the inner page.

Hi Stefan, I have this need, i.e. to put an app in an iframe (in my case a .NET survey system) that is installed inside of my DNN installation, and I'd like the iframe to automatically resize to suit the size requirements of the app, i.e. both vertically and horizontally. I'm not a programmer, so implementing the code solution above is not up my alley. But, could it please be included some how in the iframe module itself, or something simliar that achieves the same result? Basically it is a real pain to have to subject my users to having to manage two vertical scroll-bars, one for the frame and the other for the browser window. Please?

I managed to get this java code to work and am now enjoying full height frames for apps in my domain. I'm using IE7. However, I just noticed it doesn't appear to work with FireFox. Can anyone comment?
