Hallo,

we are using extern software for translation. So usually we export the en-US language pack for our modules, translate it and import the translated language packs. Now, how can we do it with localized content? First of all we need to translate page names and titles. Do they belong to some language pack? Are they exportable?

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated

Sincerely

Unfortunately, DNN does not provide an Interface for ContentLocalization atm, this needs to be implemented within the content modules you are using.

Thank you for the reply. As to content shown inside of module, I agree. But in order to translate page names and titles and the main menu, I have to update ContentItems Table in the dnn database. Which is of course possible, but I'm just wondering if there is some other way to import such items?

Unfortunately, I am not aware of an existing Export/Import tool atm.

Hi,

iLangL TMS can help in this case.

Like a native DNN module iLangL TMS provides unique translation features and, in professional way, helps to translate DNN content (pages, html, NBStore ecommerce content). Fully customized translation workflow, machine translation (Microsoft, Google), translation memory and many other features are now a part of DNN.

Best Regards,

Sergey Yuryev
