On a portal with a couple of hundred usess i have enabled the social features. I changed the profile visibiity to publix via the site properties. For a couple of users i have updated their profile property visibility as well. However, now the firstname, lastname, email properties show up but profile properties such as street, city, country and region show up as "**********".. The users off that portal are all members of the same "confreres" group/role.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The profile defaults are stuck in whatever state they were set to when each individual user was created.

We wound up having so many issues with the profile display system that we gave up and rolled our own profile display module to replace the internal one.
