Hello,

We have a few DNN websites currently running on our server. We must migrate these sites to azure websites (*.azurewebsites.net).
The accelerator is for Cloud Services(*.cloudapp.net), so this is not very usefull in this case.

I've copied every file to the webmatrix in azure, and changed the connectionstring to the sql azure server. But it doesn't seem to work.
The message I receive is: The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
On a second try I reveived : Domain Name Does Not Exist In The Database.. (reason is azurewebsites.net I suppose)

Is migrating an existing website possible? Or do we need to create the website again from scratch?
Or Is there anything that guides you through these mirgration steps?

Thanks!

Hi Gillian

I have the same Problem. Did you succeed in the meantime? If so, what did you do?

Thank you for your Feedback & regards,¨

Hello,

No, we haven't found a solution yet.

I think we're going to move our websites to a windows azure virtual machine.

If you have a solution, please let me know!

Greetings
