I seem to be having an issue with recurring events when trying to put an annual event that happens on a certain day/month.

The event I am trying to put in is Memorial Day, Once per year, Last Monday of May...

I am using the latest beta as well.  No option for this setting,  I tried Monthly with a recurrence every 12 months but the CSS makes it look like repetition frequency is only for "Repeated on Day"

Should have some space between these settings possibly or make a annual event setting for certain days/weeks/months to recur.  Under monthly it feels like it should be a monthly event, annual is once per year yet there is no way to set it up.

I go into next year on the calendar and I do not see it listed.

Maybe I am looking at this wrong... any suggestions or is this a known issue?

Also one other thing is the "Categories:   "  is located below the date but in calendar instead of on top of it which makes it harder to read.  And it does not have the same font color as "Today".

Thanks

Hi Cody,

Thinking about this I think this is something the module doesn't support, 'last Monday in May'. It supports 'last Monday of every month', but not of a single month.

Feel free to raise it as a request on Codeplex.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Cody,

I have added a simple change to the module - http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/workite... - which should meet your need. It will be in the 6.1.1 final release.

Cheers
Roger

Right on Roger, you rock man.

I surely appreciate your prompt response to making your module better. Keep it up.

I will definitely put whatever thought into your module I can to help you shape it into the best events module ever.

a big thanks.

One last idea somewhat on this topic is a way to import national holidays which I am sure there is a way. I know each country will be different but a simple holiday ical import to make all the most popular holidays go into your module with a click would be nice. it seems I seen something like that before but I cant remember where.

Nice work keep it up.

I think there was once upon a time an import mechanism, but there hasn't been since Ernst Peter and I took on the module in 2008. We do plan to add the functionality, just that time seems more limited these days....
