Hello. I cannot access the Host Settings of my website. I get the following error. Since this seems to be a DNS issue, and I have full access to DNS on the server as well as the Sys32/drivers/etc/HOSTS file, I can setup whatever needs to be done, but I just don't know what this is trying to resolve. Does anyone have any ideas what's going on with the Host Settings page and System.Net.Dns.InternalGetHostByAddress?

Error: Host Settings is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: No such host is known ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No such host is known at System.Net.Dns.InternalGetHostByAddress(IPAddress address, Boolean includeIPv6) at System.Net.Dns.GetHostEntry(String hostNameOrAddress) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Host.HostSettings.BindConfiguration() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Host.HostSettings.BindData() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Host.HostSettings.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I don;t know root cause but I'd try a fresh install to see if you can narrow it down to either that install or possibly the server or some other network related issue.

Got it figured out. In this case, the server was unable to resolve the local server name. This is a dedicated server, so I was able to change the server name and put a HOSTS file entry for 127.0.0.1.

Now the page displays correctly
