Hi,

I have created a site with lots of pages and lots of module on them. I now would like to allow a certain role to edit each page and edit the modules that I have created on those pages. If I have the RoleID , can anyone help me with some SQL to do this as it would take hours to do manually? I'm mostly having trouble identifying exactly what tables I need to insert into, (I think there are different ones for the page permissions and the module permissions?) so help with this would be great.

 Many thanks, Rob

Hi
You are looking for TabPermission table for page permission.

steps to generate SQL to give permission:
Get all Tab id.
create new records in the TabPermission table with Tabid,Roleid with combination of permission id as 3 and 4. 3 for view tab 4 for edit tab.

*Research more before doing it manually. i will suggest to do it from dnn interface.

Thanks,
