When adding the Forum project to the DNN using VS2005 I get the following warning during the project conversion
stage:

Conversion Issues - Website\DesktopModules\Forum\DotNetNuke.Forum.vbproj:
MSB2012: Project-to-project references to web projects are no longer supported and therefore cannot be converted. Please remove the reference to project http://localhost/dnn and add it again.

I assume that this is expected? I also assume that there is no VS2005 project file yet?

Thanks!

There is no vs 2k5 project available yet. There is no exact time frame for when this will occur. Right now I am trying to fix outstanding issues prior to moving to 2k5.

Thanks for the fast and efficient reply Crispy - much appreciated.

I'm trying to compile Forums under VS2005 and noticed that the first error I hit was a missing base class:

SolpartWebControls.SolpartMenu

Where do I find this class? Better yet, are there any PDF's or other online docs that address what I'm doing right now so I don't have to bother you in this forum?

Thanks again.

No docs, I haven't even done it with this module yet. You can use the new project conversion tool that is available for download on this site. The Solpart problem has to involve the referenced project dll. You should look at its classes for an answer there.
