I am developing a DNN site as a local host site. I've installed some free twitter modules to test and uninstalled. After uninstalling them (I think that would be the reason and it was working well before. That could be another issue as well.)

Now my admin menu is not working. Specially no loading the modules. The site is DNN 7.0.5 and it is displaying "Loading Module(s)" forever. I did try by installing the same modules. But it is still same.

What could be the reason and what could be the fix for this? Please can you advise? Really appreciate if you can help me to find out the issue and a fix.

This is the screenshot.

more likely, one of the modules you installed did add some JavaScript interfering with DNN core and controlpanel code. You may switch controlpanel to RibbonBar in Host Settings, which is less JS dependant.

I had a similar problem. In my case it was because one of the icons, used to represent the module, had a wrong path. I had to fix it under host/extensions. In my case the skins module icon had a wrong path. Maybe it is the same for you, but you may want to look through the module list and see which one has the icon missing.

I hope this helps.

cheers,
