Hi,
i tried to setup dotnetnuke 7.0.5.
The setup wizards goes to 19% ... then the wizard stops at this point ... meanwhile for about 20 minutes.

I tried it again.
Drop Database ... create a new one.
Upload all files again to the webserver.

Wizard stops again at 19% ...
I also tried different Browser (IE 10, Opera).

Last Message is
"19% Die Konfiguration wird aktualisiert für7.0.4"

Whats wrong ?
How can i found out where the installation stops ?

Setting up latest dnn 6 works fine on same webserver with same database.

The Webserver & Datebase ist hostet ab 1&1.
(MS SQL Server 2012, .Net-Framework 4.5)

Thanks for your help.

Jürgen

Can you confirm with 1 & 1 that:

  1. the site's application pool is running in integrated pipeline and not classic mode and
  2. that the MS SQL Server database compatibility level is either 100 or 110 respectively and not 90 (which would be MS SQL Server 2005). and
  3. that the ASP.Net worker process account (IIS Idenitity account) has been granted all permissions including modify on the root install folder and that those permissions have propagated to all child folders.

Finally, before extracting files from the downloaded install package zip and uploading them to the server, did you "Unblock" the zip archive - that is, right click on the zip folder in windows file manager, select properties, click the "Unblock" button?
