Hi there Erik,

I am from South Africa, and have been battling since October to resolve one issue.

Website: http://www.adhasa.co.za.  The current hosting company (in South Africa) want it off as it is using too much bandwidth, so I took out hosting which I found on http://www.dotnetnuke.com, Arvixe.  Took them as they are on the DNN website, so presumably they can help me.  They said they can, and I am happy with Arvixe.  They are very helpful, but I cannot get the site working on  Arvixe.  I cannot move hosting until it works on Arvixe, as the owners want it up 24x7, and I cannot start all over again to create it.

I obviously copied the database.bak onto Arvixe.  Then had Arvixe Support restore it.  But I am getting the same error, no matter what I do to the web.config.  And it keeps on pointing back to the old hosting company.  Where could this be/would this be?

I would really appreciate some technical help, never mind the moral  support!

Warm wishes,

Lorí

There are a few tables in the database that pertain to the domain name when DNN is installed. That may be pointing back to the old website.

Hi  Lori,
You have to modify few tables like "Portal Settings & PortalAlias".
For detail, you can view the below link.
