Loading the user list is OK as far a speed goes; the slow part is doing the enrollments after the "enroll selected users" is clicked. 

I got the defaults for the reminder time changed OK - then I won't have to stress the importance of changing it per event to the event scheduler!

Hi Rigel,

To be honest I can't easily see how to improve the save performance. It does a read for the User signup, then saves it for each user. Not much I can chop out of there.

Having said that are you using Events 6.1.1, I get lost in this thread as to whether you are or aren't. 6.1.x adds Journal integration, which adds some extra workload recording event attendances to the Journal, which I could potentially add a setting to disable Journal integration for a module instance.
