Just to share my experience in using the Azure Accelerator to install DNN 7 on Azure.  The latest version offer on CodePlex is 6.4 but I encountered some problem unable to resolve it. Nevertheless, manage to use the 6.3 version to install DNN 7.0.5 on Azure successfully using a Web Edition new Database created on Azure Portal.

A Getting Started main page displayed but unable to Register the SuperUser host a/c for now...a blank page is cover on top of the input field.  Anyone is facing the same problem?  Any advise to solve the problem is appreciated.  Thanks.

I am not currently seeing any problem with using the 6.4 Azure Accelerator with DNN 7.0.5.  I have created a short video which shows my installation progress (I have speeded things up in the video, it should take about 15 minutes total). http://www.screencast.com/t/jZGGOIWdvpQt

If you could post more information about the specific errors you are having with 6.4 accelerator, we might be able to help you resolve them.

Hi Joe, thanks for your respond to this topic. I try version 6.4 Accelerator again and in the 5th Steps

Deploy the package      is given the       Status Running (DNNAzure_IN_0: Busy...)

Upload Failed !

- Install DotNetNuke Error : The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

By checking Azure Portal under my a/c, I noticed the new database (in my case is Flora-Apps) is NOT CREATED.

Shall manually create new Database Flora-Apps in Azure Portal and give another try again.

After manual create a new Flora-Apps Database on Azure Portal and try again on ver 6.4 accelerator. But, I still encountered the same error.

Install DotNetNuke Error: The remote server returned an error : (404) Not Found, Upload failed !,

Using ver 6.3 accelerator with same setting, I managed to get  DNN 7 install on Azure under the name - CEO-Match as mentioned.

Any advise where make changes before my next attend, Thanks

I noticed the Cloud Server was running with ? mark during installation process.  After installation, green / mark show in status.. Just for your information.
