An old module of mine outputs html like this

< img src='image.png' alt='some alt text' title='some title text' / >

But in DNN v7 the output has changed to this:

< img src='image.png' alt='some alt text' title='some title text' / >

Has html rendering changed in DNN7 and why? It now renders ' instead of the single quote mark. What do I need to do to render the same html that I used to be able to render?

Thanks

Hi,

there have been some threads about this problem here in the forum or the Community Exchange recently. It has something to do with the settings of your HTML Editor provider.

Please search, I am sure you find the answer. (And sorry for not providing it here, as I am not able to do a search at the moment, and I don't remember it anymore).

Best wishes
Michael

Hi

Switch to 'Basic Text Mode', change render mode to Html and try to add above html code and save.

Thanks
