What my company desires is to be able to have an extra field in the html module that would allow a summary to be added about why the page was updated. It would contain things like 'updated broken link' or 'fixed typo'. That information would get stored in the database and then we could run a query on pages that were recently updated and see why.

Does a module like that exist?

In the past we have modified the html module itself to allow this. That however is not a long term solution as we would have to do that every time we upgraded the software. Not to mention its hugely risky to mess with core code.

I don#T think there is a extra module availible for.  But the HTML module have a Change workflow if self in it Settings.  Check the module Settings and enable the Change workflow.  If I remember correct it is possible on the professional Version to see the changes on the html module, but I am not sure.

Thanks for the quick reply Matthias!

We have the professional version so I will try things out on our test site to see if using the versioning functionality works for our needs!

If anyone else has other suggestions, those are welcome as well!
