I wish to upgrade my existing DNN 3.X install to the latest 4.X but I'm a bit in doubt what consequenses it will have on my system.

First of all I need to install ASP.NET 2.0 on a machine that already has ASP.NET 1.0
Will the new version overwrite or co-exist with the older?
Is it easy-peasy or do I need to be aware of something.

Secondly I need to keep my existing portals. I read that I can not just overwrite so how do I transfer the old portals from 3.x to the new 4.x installation?

Okay, I better make a quick apology for not searching the forums thoroughly because I guess I am not the only one who had these problems, but I need a very quick answer since I have to make a time estimate to my clients.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!
