When configuring AD Authentication I get the following message:

Accessing Global Catalog:
OK
Checking Root Domain:
FAIL
Accessing LDAP:
OK

Find all domains in network:
Could not access LDAP to obtain domains info

The webserver is joined in a different domain than the AD Auth domain where users should login to.
Is this a problem?

When configuring connection to the AD where the webserver is a member of the config is ok.
Accessing Global Catalog:
OK
Checking Root Domain:
OK
Accessing LDAP:
OK

LDAP is reachable and I can browse all domains with the known credentials. I used a LDAP explorer tool to test this from the webserver.

Please help me to solve this problem, I'm out of options.

Kind regards,

Patrick

Have you tried using impersonation in your web.config?

Yes I did.

Same result.

I've tried a trial version of Active Directory Authentication v2 and I got a connection to the other domain.

So user, password and server are ok.
