Hello,

I have set up DNN 07.00.05 on a MS 2008 server with sql express 2008 and having problems with the site running stable and giving the message that the site is unavailable or under construction default message.

Here is the error i found in the portal log:

2013-05-03 10:34:01,926 [Rck-vmsqaihp-01][Thread:14][ERROR] DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.LogController - System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. are you accessing your database via attached database name or filename (Database.mdf) inside the un-commented query string in your web.config file?

    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=(local);Database=DotNetNuke;uid=;pwd=;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
