Hi everyone,

Our server admin has copied our website over to a development URL and upgraded our DNN installation to version 7. (We were previously running DNN 5.02.02, so we've skipped version 6 in this upgrade.)

The data for the website appears to remain intact and the files for our custom skin appear to be loading, however there is no call in the header to our customskin.css, customcontainer.css or even default.css.

When I log in to the new installation I still see the old looking control panel at the top of each page instead of the new one that comes with DNN 7.

I think there may be some broken javascript as well, because when I try to click options under Host Settings like "Restart Application" nothing happens (and I know those links rely on javascript to work).

Obviously something is very wrong here. But I really don't know where to start in terms of tracking down the problem. Do I need to reinstall my custom skin? Could all of this be due to some kind of module conflict? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I should also add that jQuery does not appear to be loading, as well as dnncore.js and a few other JavaScript files that may or may not be critical to the website.

That's a large jump in versions.

You may want to roll back, upgrade to 6.x and then to 7.x.

Update: Our server admin upgraded from DNN 5 to 6 before upgrading to version 7. He said that in version 6 the website appeared to look and function ok.
