DNN Version 6.2.6

I recently made two changes

  • I changed the web.config to require unique email addresses when registering - after I verified that there were no duplicate email addresses/accounts.
  • I changed the host password

Everything seems to be fine, but now when logged in as host I'm unable to upload files in File Manager. When I click the upload button I get this error:

"Either you are not currently logged in, or you do not have access to this content."

Is this related to the requireUniqueEmail change I made in the web.config or possibly the password change? I made the same changes in our DEV environment, and I'm not having any problems uploading files on that server. If not, does anyone know what could cause it?

I went into the File Manager module settings - did Nothing - cancelled out of the settings, and now it works.

6th time's a charm?

I ran into this sometimes as well, but the solution is easy: Switch from "View" to "Edit" mode...

Best wishes

Ha - that's easier than my "settings - cancel" solution.

Thanks again Michael
