When developing solutions with other products, we typically have a local development database that represents the production database (frequently sync with production) and on-going development.  After adding the pages and page content for a new site, we simply synchronize the databases. It looks like we can't do that with DNN due to a few keyless tables.  Is that the case?  We are using Red-gate.com database tools.

Eric - This is not something that is easily supported as it takes a lot of discipline to make something like this work and you have outside dependencies such as files/dlls/etc that can introduce risk. If you look at Enterprise Edition there is a content staging feature that can help with some of this, but it isn't a guarantee by any stretch of imagination and only support HTML modules for content promotion.

I have done migrations in the past on a regular basis so it "CAN" be done, the question becomes is that really what you want to be doing. (If you would like to talk specifically about your situation feel free to email me at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com.)
