I am running Windows server 2008, with IIS 7.0.  SQL Express 2012 and dot net framework 4.0.  Problem:  I can not add "IIS Apppool\website" to the website folder security tab, object not found.  The server is NOT on a domain.

Please advise, thanks
D.

You can use NETWORK SERVICE account for IIS Application Pool and File System instead.

Doren: Are you actually typing "website" or the name of the App Pool listed in IIS?
