I have what appears to be a serious issue:

Atetmpted to Restore site from a failed upgrade of 7.00.06 from 6.2.5 - now would like to have the original (6.2.5) site back- however all I get is Dotnetnuke error with the head page - no login, modules or anything else.

Database error was attempting to restore using SSMS 2012 with a 2008 database!
Okay - Lesson Learned- Now what should be the procedure to restore (downgrade) to an earlier version?Or if I use the upgrade say 6.2.6 over  the files will the database link to that?  I have also read many ties tomake sure the machine keys match- does this mean what one had previously should be the same on the upgraded web.config file?

I need some help - site has been down a week without a resolution.

Thanks

Mike
