Ooops... looks like I need to do some editing on the documentation as I don't seem to have the setting up of roles. I'll try to get that added shortly but basically it's like the following:

The DNN role has to match the Pre-Windows 2000 AD group name (right click on the AD group and check the properties. It'll be shown in under the General tab). The AD group must be a security group. Distribution groups will not work. I don't think Group Scope matters but if your's is Universal or Domain local let me know so that I can test against those.

As for your role.... you don't need Auto Assignment checked and I couldn't find the Assign to Existing Users as an option on my 7.0.6 site anywhere. Other than that your Role looks fine.
