I have spent a couple of hours reading and trying various things for our site.  I simply want to add some javascript code on the Home page.  The problem is every time I enter javascript it disappears!  I tried it under Edit content->Basic Text View->Raw View ==>Disappears. I went under page management->Home->Edit Module->Add Footer/Heaer ==>disappears.  I have also tried under Page Management->Home->Metatags->Page Header tags==Disappears.  I have tried both just referencing my file via a src statement and just pasting the block of javascript code.  Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Hi Burt,

You have found out the hard way that DNN does everything to keep it secure. If you go to Host > HTML Editor Manager you will see the settings for your HTML Editor. If you choose in the tree 'Everyone' and select on the right side the Tab Editor Configuration then go to the option Content Filters. Uncheck RemoveScripts. That will make the provider to allow Javascript in the HTML editor.

You may need to restart the application.

You should undo this procedure if you are done because you don't want someone else to put some script on your site ;p

I unchecked the "Remove Scripts" option but even after I click "Update" and come back to the page, the option remains checked.
