Hi,

I was wondering what the best way is to skin the DNN Login control that's displayed in the modal popup.
Of course I could turn off the popups and style the login control on a separate page to my liking, but I'd like to keep using the popup.

I noticed the popup loads some default styles from the _default folder. would it be possible to attach some site-specific styles as well?
I tried adding a SkinSrc & ContainerSrc in the popup call, but those are ignored:
dnnModal.show('http://example.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%252fModule.aspx&popUp=true&SkinSrc=[L]%2fSkins%2fmySkin%2fDefault&ContainerSrc=[L]%2fContainers%2fmySkin%2fDefaultContent',/*showReturn*/true,300,650,true,'')

I did notice there are some other variables in the dnnModal.show() function, but I couldn't find any documentation about this function. Is a callback function supported, in which I could apply styling by javascript for instance?

Thanks in advance for your time!

Hanneke

Hi all,

I can hardly imagine no one has been able to style the login popup, right?

How do you guys all skin the login functionality?
By disabling the popup and skinning the page, or by editing the _default styles?
What would be the most proper choice of the available options?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,
Hanneke

To be honest I always turn off the pop-up as I find them terrible, so I never had to style it.
But AFAIK it's a jQuery UI pop-up, so the best thing would be to overwrite this styling values in your skin.css

There's a style generator for jQuery UI, or you can create your own CSS.
