The authentication page vanished through my upgrade from 4.8.2 to 7.0.2.

How does one set mixed mode authentication on child portals in 7.0.2?

In addition, my instance has 500 child portals that may or may not have ad mixed mode set. How can I retain those settings in the upgraded version?

Authentication is now found under Extensions both in the Host and Admin menus. Host Extensions is just for installing the extension while Admin Extensions are where you apply the actually settings.

Any settings you had "should" have stuck through the upgrade process but I'll admit it's been a long time since I've done such a large upgrade and I can't guarantee that the DotNetNuke upgrade process wouldn't have wiped something else.

As for setting up mixed-mode authentication.... I take it you don't want any automatic authentication and you want your users to choose what login process they're going to use. Back in the DNN 4 days you would've just commented out the line in your web.config httpModules section that referenced the AD provider. Now, the easiest way is to point the Autologin IP to 127.0.0.1

Thank you for your prompt response. (though it be a week ago) I am grasping at straws here. I have an issue in another thread that has gone unanswered. Any ideas other than recompile of the core?
