How it happened i have no idea.

My hunch - something to do with page settings and permissions.

I have access to ftp, and our other alias portals - their login pages work.
I dont have access to that particular portal - cannot get in the back end.

Is there a way to restore the login page without destroying the entire portal?

thanks
Martin

Hi,

try this:

http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx?ctl=login

Then create a page, add an Account Login Module there and permit View access to All Users. Finally, change the Login Page to that new page in the Site Settings.

You propably don't want to include this page in the menu, so check (or uncheck) the appropriate option in the page settings.

Best wishes
Michael

Thanks Michael, but even with this link i am redirected to /UserLogin.aspx which does not contain the login fields.

Is there something i can do in the Host Settings to restore the login page?
Or a way to "trick" dnn so that i can log in via a different portals Superuser and fix pages of another portal?

Ok a quick update, i have now figured out WHY this "login form fields missing" has happened.

It happens once i set the Admin > User Accounts > Redirect after login > Home
This was a huge mistake. The login page is destroyed after that and even the admin cannot log in anymore.
I havent yet found a way to rollback this action.

My original goal: redirect logged in users to homepage.
