Hi

I am running DNN 6.2.5 and am having a problem with group member approval. When a user joins a group that requires member approval the member has a status of "Membership Pending" , the group owner get the email (with no links) When the group owner goes to the message center and views notifications, you can see a notification that a person joined the group but there is no link to approve the membership. Just the Dismiss link

Can anyone give me insight into how to diagnose this?

iHi

Can anyone provide some insight as to how to reinitialize groups. My dnn install was an upgrade to 6.2.5 and I was running active social. I had problems with notifications when I first upgraded. I was getting an error when a group was created. I found that the notification types table was empty for groups. I manually populated the table entries and the error went away but I'm afraid I must have missed something.

are you using DN in default language or are you running a language pack?

Hi Sebastian

I checked under admin/languages and it is set to site default English with Native Name checked and enable Browser Detection checked.

I do not have any language packs installed.

While I was checking the resource files under desktop modules, I could not find anything for notifications. There is a resource file for core messaging and includes everything for messages but not notifications. There is no resource file for the message center module . Is there somewhere else I should be looking?
