Hello,

I'm using the Gravity skin in my Intranet.
One problem there is that the submenus always expand to the right. In my case I’ve a  quite complex menu structures and for some sites there is not enough space on the screen to display all menu items.
Is it possible to let the menu decide wether to expand right or left depending on the space left on the screen?

Many thanks for your comments!!

I would like to know if there is an answer as well.

The old SolPart Menu and even the DDR Menu in SolPart Mode would automatically expand either left or right depending on the amount of horizontal viewport width.

Not by default.

Both Solpart and DNNmenu used javascript to calculate the position of the submenus.
This also lead to positioning issues sometimes BTW.
In fact they were terrible menu's in many respects IMHO (SEO, W3C standards, clean HTML etc.)
Most of the new menu's use CSS to create the flyouts and thus don't have any logic to calculate available space.
You could add this by writing your own JS, but I guess that's not what you are looking for :-)

Thanks for responding Timo. You are correct that I was hoping for, but not expecting, more of a solution.

You did confirm what I've already been finding by trolling through the Forums and Codeplex.
