The first skin fail seems due to 'HideLoginControl' who comes with 706.

What is the version of the DotNetNuke.dll ?

It seems some files have been upgraded (web.config for exemple), well uploaded, but some others (dll ?) not, your databse should have update if the process sems to be ok when you have initialy update

Dis you well Unblock the update.zip file before extract it on your website ?

Have you an other acces to the site database ? (to check the version of the db)

I did not unblock the zip file. I unzipped if without any problem and then moved the files over to the site. (downloaded with seamonkey, unzipped with 7-zip and moved with windows 7)

Dotnetnuke.dll is 7.0.4.180. (aha!) But the version in the unzipped folder is 7.0.6.121
In the database there is a table called version, containing 7 records, from 7.0.0 top 7.0.6

I've just unzipped the upgrade.zip and moved the files over to my site again... wish me luck.

It works! (for now, I did also work yesterday)
I still did not unblock the zip file. I can not imagine that this could caused the old files to be restored.

Let's see if it still works after I reboot my machine....
