Good day all!

So I've created a custom html form within the html module using an external php handler file on an external server. The form submits and does everything that the handler needs to do. The last piece of the puzzle is that almost all of the fields on the form are required.

Would I have to employ a separate javascript file to check that those fields have data when submitting? Or can anyone point me in the right direction that I can use my normal php error handling?

you may use client side validation - usually you should evaluate the form response on your DNN server, using e.g. a module like free Helferlein Forms (http://helferleinform.codeplex.com/)
