Please can someone point me to a link or a resource that shows the difference between a friendly and a standard URL? And the impact of the two on a DNN installation?

Thanks

SFU: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/-1/Default.aspx

standard URL: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?tabid=795&forumid=-1

Thanks Sebastian.

Now I did a check on Google, Yahoo and MSN and all 3 handle URL's with parameters very well and have adapted efficiently. There will no doubt be some minor search engines that don't handle parameter lists.

Given this information, how else do SFU benefit a DNN installation?

In an email from Jeremy White he states that another objective of the SFU is HUMAN friendly. However, in this example, the SFU is not really Human friendly (IMO) - or is it?

I don't want to criticize this project but I'm trying to work out the pro's and con's for this particular module and hopefully this info will help others like me.

Thanks for your time and response!

it is said, that some search engines still prefer SFU.

Human friendly URLs are on the list, but there are some additional difficulties, there was a post in this forums from Scott McCulloch, where he explained this in detail.
