please check version number of the DotNetNuke.dll (in file properties) and the highest version in version table in the database.
if both are on 7.4.2, the upgrade has been applied.

Sebastian Leupold

I had the same problems. The installation started ok, but stopped at different % installed. When i typed in http://njhvidberg.dk instead of http://www.njhvidberg.dk everything worked.

you should use the default alias - I usually prefer to use redirect mode for aliases in Site Settings, so all users use same alias (per language, of course).

I have this same issue. I've uploaded the files for the upgrade and typed my domain name into the browser, and it just does nothing.  After a while, a blank page loads if I'm using Chrome, nothing happens at all if I use IE. This happens no matter if I just use the domain name or the full URL pointing to the install.aspx page.

The upgrade zip file was unblocked. Any ideas or suggestions? The site is having issues, including not being able to export pages, so the upgrade is important. If it doesn't work, I'm going to have to recreate it page by page.

if autoupgrade is set to false in web.config, you need to browse to "/install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade".
