During the installation of DNN 4.3, I met several application errors. Most of them were database connection problem or store procedure missing issues. After reviewing the log files from those sql scripts I found the way to fix it!

It is the problem of collation confliction!

DNN sql scripts are using Case Insensitive format, If your SQL Database is using Case Sensitive "CS" as part of its collation you will got huge trouble in DNN installation or upgrading. Lots of store procedures won't be able to created!

Soluction:

When you set up a new database for DNN, you need make sure you are using "CI" in collation settings

Sample: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

Good luck!
