I'm having difficulty installing the Facebook Like Box on my DNN 7.00.06 site. The iframe worked...in Chrome, but didn't show up in IE or FireFox. Also tried a third party module which didn't work. Any recommendations for best practices for this?

hi,

instead of using the iframe code use the html5 code.

Place the script into the header of the html module...

settings > advanced settings > Header

and the div into the html view of the editor, then the facebook like should appear.

Regards,

Geoff

Thanks. I've tried that, cleared the website cache and my browser caches, but the content is still not appearing in FireFox or Internet Explorer. Any other ideas? Could it be an issue with my skin?

i have tried this and it did work for me and displayed on chrome as well as ie.

If you think its the skin that is the problem try to change the skin to the dnn  aphelia or darkknight skin with their containers, if this works you'll know its you skin.

Just to close the loop on this...I found a forum post on another website that commented about how your Facebook page settings need to be set with no restrictions on who can access the page. Sure enough, the page had "18+" set. Once I changed that so the page was visible to all (no age or country restrictions), it worked fine.
