Matthias-

I already tried using the File Manager with the default DNN 7 skin. There shouldn't be anything incompatible in there.

It looks like it might be fixed in the next version: http://support.dnnsoftware.com/project/DNN/2/item/27587

Matt, Thanks for sharing that. I read the link and am happy to see that this bug is fixed in DNN 7.1.1. Can't wait.

- In the details of the bug report, they state that the problem is related to having pop-ups turned off in site settings. So I turned my pop-ups back on and that fixed my new file manager. I'm happy to have it working, but I don't like the pop-ups. Thanks though for connecting us with that help.

Matthias, Thank you for helping. I tried three other skins. One of which was new from the store. Even though I edit skins regularly, I do not know about swapping out jquery versions yet. Thank you for your suggestions. I just wasn't able to grasp how to follow up on them. I'm still gad you helped.

If you Login as Host User, you are able to use hosted jQuery and jQueryUI Framewworks e.g. to the Versions before DNN 7.1. Some Skins also have own jQuery Framework files included (thats not best practice) and included JavaScripts that used jQuery. With new jQuery Versions that packed with DNN the Skins Need modifications . Migartion and Change documentations you can found on jquery.com and jqueryui.com !

I have just updated my 7.0.4 platform to 7.1.0.

The problem only seems to come from the pop-ups being turned off, as stated before.
This (the pop-up mechanism) seems to be used on the Create New folder and Upload files features at least.

BTW, I tried old (1.7.2 / 1.8.16) and new jQuery versions, both seems to work fine.

Hope they fix it soon.

Same problem here after upgrading to DNN710. I noticed the problem only occurs when you have popups disabled. When you enable popups the File Manager works as expected.

Hopefully we don't have the wait to long for a fix version DNN 711 !!!
