Hello,

I have a module that leverages the old DNN search functionality and makes use of the tables / views that are utilized by it. With DNN 7.1.0 the search has been re-written and the old set of tables is not being used. Does anyone know where the search indexing data is stored? On a similar note, does anyone know how to access the new search API?

Thanks,

Bill

we now use lucence, so all the information is stored within the lucence index - it can be configured a few ways but we choose to use the filesystem option (essentially it's a NoSQL store). You can read some background on the changes at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-... -and look into the code to see how the index is created  (e.g. check the html module code at Modules\HTML\Components\HtmlTextController.cs and look into the GetModifiedSearchDocuments to see a concrete example), as well as just using the lucene objects (primarily SearchDocument)
