C'mon guys you cannot seriously call advising people to be more precise in individual new threads and then locking this thread censorship. Deleting it maybe, but not locking.

I recall when I very first made my steps onto the internet reading a post that said after the first seven contributions to a thread you can usually stop reading. It will have drifted off topic. This one has lasted way longer than seven, but it's also way off the original topic. Put it to bed and be more precise.

This thread is way more than 7. Why are you still here?? Those who are not interested can stay off the thread and turn off the email notifications. Don't tell others what to do.

I've no problem with leaving the thread open (and will do as it seems that's what people want). I simply suggested it as the thread itself lacks focus e.g. so far today it's covered sql, the source package, folksonomy and forums vs q&a amongst other topics- IMHO it would have been better to have separate threads where those could have been properly debated in depth, hence my suggestion. There is no attempt at censorship - locking leaves all content open and we've locked other threads in the past when they've ran their course.

Regarding Forums, we missed to mention YAF - which is unfair, IMHO with YAF core team member Ingo taking care of the DNN integration module with supreme support!

(sorry, even I am unable to sort this discussion into multiple threads, but would like visitors to get to know!)

I did mention YAF a few pages back, it's the best DNN forum module period and support is great too!
