I want to add a custom field. a dropdown to the entry list and it should load data from an external table column. The selected value should save with the entry saving and should show that value when the entry viewing.

Is this possible to do with the blog module?

I am using DNN 7.1

Is there any other module that I can do that with the same features here.

Please advise.

I don't think you can do this without to Change the source code.  If it should a Feature outside of the blog module try using http://dnnreports.codeplex.com or http://dnnFnL.codeplex.com .

Hi,

You can do this with DigPageLinks.  There are several templates included, two of which are types of Drop Downs.  It's easy to setup and there is a 15 day trial.

Thanks
Mike
