I have tried both local and hosted versions (older). I have updated the URL to match the local version...and it still fails to work.

Old File manager just loops and DAM will not drill down in the tree view...

Thanks for the suggestions though....

HTML clipboard Hi Roy
Have you tried setting the Admin/Site settings/ File AutoSync to be off.
In the past I have found this to be an issue with DNN6 that causes exactly the same problem.

Just wiped my installation and started fresh.

1> Installed 7.06 version (because of template issue in 7.1.1, I started with 7.06)
2> File Manager works fine.
3> Installed 7.1.1 upgrade to installation
4> File manager is now broken and loops.

These are out of the box installs using the currently available code. I can only conclude that 7.1.1 is not ready for prime time. Not sure if this bug has been submitted but I have been able to duplicate the issue on 2 separate from scratch installations.

Thanks for the responding but I think I am rolling back to 7.06 for now.
