Good day,

I'm studying DotNetNuke. I know that it is powerful and have many features to build really good website. But, I just want to know if there is a possibility to integrate my Classic ASP files in DotNetNuke. Is there a possibility that my asp files, which display columns and rows from my MS SQL DataBase as a result of the script, will be browse inside DotNetNuke Website. Is there a module or something to do with this?

Aside from that, I know DotNetNuke is ASP.NET based. Is there a module or something that could query my database and produce some result and display it in DotNetNuke Website?

Please help me regarding this matter. I really wanted to migrate to DotNetNuke, but first I need to resolve this issue. Thank you very much for your support.

Thank you,

Jherson Catubigan

Jherson,

you can use the iFrame module to include ASP pages into your DNN portal, another option is commercial module ASP for Nukelet http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=4604

Thanks leupold,

I tried IFrame but when I pass URL like http://localhost/sample/sample.asp ..... It has error saying that it is not valid URL. Please help how to put my asp files in IFrame or other free module.

Thank you

You might take a look at our modules that are similar to the text/HTML module but provide ways to integrate database information into the display.  The ActiveHTML  module will display rows of data.  If you know asp then you could easily use the examples create the settings to integrate data.  See the modules on snowcovered
