I am receiving a similar problem after simply deleting the demo "Contact Us" page.  I have cleared the cache and restarted the application.  What else can I do?

If it helps; I had also received this error when creating a new page before purging the old one from the Recycle Bin:

The Page Name you chose is already being used for another page at the same level of the page hierarchy.

I'm getting the same error as Armin. Re-saving the site settings had no effect. This is on a site that was created originally with DNN 7.0.6, updated to 7.2.0. I recently imported over 800 users using Data Springs interactive user import. Not sure when the pages module stopped working, but at some point before that user import it was working, and now it's not, and it's the only thing I can think of that definitely changed since the last time I successfully used the page module. Searching the web, this is the only instance I see of this error being noted, and no solutions out there. Anyone able to diagnose this?
